The location was perfect, just a short walk from Bordeaux Cathedral and the Place du Parlement. We loved the charm and ambiance, especially the beamed ceiling in our room. While the first room was too small for us, the staff helped us switch to a much nicer room, which was a great relief. However, I did notice some issues with cleanliness and noise from the floors above. Overall, exploring the city was amazing, and the attractions were easily accessible.

The location of La Tour Intendance is unbeatable, right in the heart of Bordeaux. It took just a short walk to reach popular attractions and great restaurants. My room was neat, clean, and had a charming atmosphere. The decor added a rustic charm that really made the stay special. Staff members were welcoming, particularly during breakfast, where I appreciated the pleasant selection of pastries and coffee. However, the breakfast options could use better replenishment. items ran low during busy hours. My room was a bit on the small side, making it a tight fit for two with luggage. Wi-Fi connectivity was slow at times, which was a bit frustrating when I needed to catch up on emails. Overall, a wonderful hotel with some room for improvement.

Charming decor adds a unique character to the hotel.
My stay was marred by constantly slow Wi-Fi, which severely hindered my ability to work. I also faced issues with the bathroom, where the shower wasn’t fully enclosed, creating a messy experience. Another disappointment was the breakfast service. I arrived hoping for a meal but was met with a dismissive attitude instead, forcing me to seek breakfast outside.

We had a fantastic time exploring the historic center and enjoyed lovely meals at nearby restaurants. The hotel had a cozy feel, and we appreciated the supportive staff, who even offered tips for excursions. Make sure to visit the local sites and the nearby river mirror, which really enhanced our trip.
However, the air conditioning was inconsistent, which disrupted our sleep during warmer nights.

would definitely go back.
The Standing Double Room had big windows letting in loads of daylight and blackout curtains that work amazing. Room was nice with a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and all basic amenities like body soap and free toiletries. The building has a cool vibe and is in a quiet street. loved how close it is to cafés.

Not recommended for business travelers
There was this charming, little balcony on the top floor with a glimpse of the roofs adjacent. The location was great for all things work and city exploring, which was helpful since I had meetings all week.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess it seemed acceptable at first glance.
